Furthermore, on Monday, January 29, 2024, the president’s announcement raises questions about the transparency and accountability of the proposed program duration. The public and stakeholders would likely seek detailed plans, budgets, and progress reports to ensure that the initiative is being implemented efficiently and effectively.
Achieving a comprehensive ICT training program for 10,000 young Liberians in various digital skills within six months faces several challenges.
- Firstly, the limited state of technology infrastructure in Liberia, including potential issues with internet access and the availability of suitable training facilities, could hinder the swift implementation of such a large-scale program.
The country may need to invest in upgrading its technological infrastructure to support effective training.
